Violations for over 1 million soms found at construction sites in Chui region

Construction sites in Kyrgyzstan's Chui region are facing significant penalties after authorities uncovered violations totaling over 1 million soms. Inspectors from the Ministry of Construction conducted thorough checks on 25 sites, including concrete mixing plants, asphalt plants, and crushing and screening complexes.

The inspections focused on ensuring compliance with regulations, examining the availability of necessary permits and design documentation. Authorities also verified that the work performed aligned with approved designs and adhered to established building codes. This rigorous assessment aimed to uphold safety and quality standards in the region's construction sector.

Following the inspections, several enterprises were fined. Among those penalized were the state-owned companies Aral-Boom and Mostostroy Otryad, along with private firms Avira Group LLC and Bishkek Invest, and Bishkek Distribution. The total amount levied in fines surpassed 1 million soms.

In addition to the financial penalties, all identified violators received official orders mandating the correction of the discovered violations within a specified timeframe. This measure underscores the ministry's commitment to rectifying non-compliance and ensuring future adherence to construction standards.
