Violent Pharmacy Robbery in La Plata: Suspects Posed as Customers Before Attacking Staff

A pharmacy in La Plata, Argentina, became the scene of a brazen robbery when two assailants disguised as customers violently attacked employees and stole cash. The entire incident was captured on the store's security cameras.

They were threatened because they said they had weapons but never showed them, instead they pointed to their pockets, shook them, and then checked the register.

The robbery unfolded Tuesday evening at a pharmacy located at the intersection of Camino General Belgrano and 504 in Gonnet. Security footage shows one man initially entering the establishment, appearing to seek a syringe. After a brief interaction with the employees, he left but quickly returned with an accomplice.

One of them got off a motorcycle, asked for syringes, said he was going to consult the person outside, and then opened the door and both entered. When both entered, they attacked the girls.

Both men then crossed behind the counter, threatening the staff. One perpetrator grabbed an employee by the neck, forcing her to the ground, while the other demanded money. They took the cash from the register and a company cell phone. The robbers, who claimed to have weapons but did not display them, fled the scene and have not yet been identified by police. The incident has raised concerns among residents in the well-trafficked area.
