Vltava Philharmonic tests its acoustics in a scale model, complete with tiny-haired figures

A miniature version of Prague’s future Vltava Philharmonic is now being used to test how the concert hall will sound. The model, built at a 1:10 scale, even includes tiny figures with hair.

Testing began in Mnichovo Hradiště in the Mladá Boleslav area, inside a hall operated by the company Aveton. The scale model reproduces the planned large concert hall and will serve as the main setting for acoustic tests.

The concert hall is intended to become the central part of the Vltava Philharmonic, a planned landmark on the Vltava riverbank near the metro station bearing the same name.
