Volkswagen is enhancing the versatility of its ID. Buzz electric MPV with a new "Good-Night Package" available in Europe, effectively turning the vehicle into a compact camper van. This upgrade caters to the growing demand for car camping and overnight stays, offering a practical solution for enthusiasts. The package aims to provide a comfortable and convenient mobile living space, leveraging the ID. Buzz's electric capabilities.

The "Good-Night Package" includes a custom-designed double bed frame and a 200 x 120 cm folding mattress, transforming the MPV's interior into a sleeping area. Complementing the sleeping arrangements are blackout curtains for privacy and light control, along with a folding table and chairs for outdoor relaxation. These components are designed for easy storage in the rear compartment when not in use, ensuring the vehicle's practicality for daily driving.

A key feature of the package is the integration of an "Overnight" mode into the vehicle's system, which can maintain climate control for up to 48 hours. This is further enhanced by the ID. Buzz's V2L (Vehicle-to-Load) function, providing 230V power at 2,000W. This capability allows users to power small appliances like induction cooktops or hair dryers, significantly increasing convenience for camping trips and outdoor activities.

Priced at 2,600 euros (approximately NT$94,000), the "Good-Night Package" offers a compelling option for those seeking to embrace the car camping lifestyle. While the package is now available in Europe, its introduction to the Taiwanese market is subject to evaluation by Taiwan V.W. Commercial Vehicles.
