VPBank wins three top awards from The Asian Banker

VPBank has solidified its position in the financial industry by securing three significant awards from The Asian Banker for 2026. The Vietnamese bank was recognized for Best Digital Bank App Vietnam, Outstanding AI Initiative in Customer Experience, and Leadership Achievement in Climate Risk Management.

The award for Best Digital Bank App Vietnam, presented to VPBank NEO, marks the third time the platform has received this honor, underscoring its sustained leadership. The Asian Banker highlighted VPBank NEO's creation of a comprehensive mobile financial ecosystem, integrating payments, savings, loans, investments, insurance, and lifestyle services into a personalized experience for its 15.4 million users. In 2025 alone, VPBank NEO acquired 3.74 million new users, processed 713 million online transactions with 98% conducted via mobile, and maintained a system stability of 99.96%.

VPBank's innovative use of artificial intelligence was also acknowledged with the Outstanding AI Initiative award. The bank has implemented AI across the entire customer journey, offering personalized product recommendations, financial management assistance, smart spending tips, and tailored promotions. These AI models are integrated into the platform to provide real-time interaction, answer queries, and support customers anytime, anywhere, enhancing engagement and experience across digital channels.

Furthermore, VPBank made history by becoming the first bank in Vietnam to receive the Leadership Achievement in Climate Risk Management award. This recognition celebrates the bank's proactive efforts in integrating climate risk considerations into its overall risk management system, credit operations, and sustainable development strategy. The Asian Banker noted VPBank's strategic digital transformation, which has advanced to a phase of creating large-scale personalized experiences by leveraging customer data and behavioral analytics.
