Vučić hints at resignation, says he's packing books from presidential office

Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić has signaled a potential resignation from his post within the next three to four months, or possibly even sooner. The president revealed his serious consideration of stepping down during a radio interview, suggesting his decision would not surprise the public when announced.

Vučić elaborated on his preparations for a potential departure, stating he has already started packing books from the presidential office. He mentioned plans to donate approximately 1,200 books he received during his tenure to an institution, while also seeking suitable recipients for another 500 books.

Looking ahead, Vučić discussed his future political considerations, including the possibility of running for the position of Prime Minister of Serbia. He also spoke of selecting a new presidential candidate for the ruling political party. Vučić stressed that this future leader should be more responsible, educated, and energetic than the current opposition candidates, Vladan Đokić and Dejan Bodiroga.
