Wabag District Delivers Road, Bridge, and Electricity to Rural Villages

Rural villages in Wabag District are benefiting from significant infrastructure development, thanks to the efforts of the Wabag District Development Authority (WDDA). Key projects recently completed include the construction of a new road and the provision of electricity, aimed at improving connectivity and living standards for local residents.

The newly constructed road is currently being sealed and connects the Aiyel Valley, which borders the Wapenamanda District, directly to Birip along the Highlands Highway. This vital link is expected to enhance transportation and economic activities within the Laiap rural local level government area of Wabag District.

In addition to the road improvements, the WDDA has also extended electricity services to these remote communities. This development marks a crucial step in bringing essential services to previously underserved areas, promising to enhance the quality of life and open up new opportunities for the villagers.
