Wait times at Gradina reach five hours, Šid three hours

Drivers are experiencing lengthy delays at Serbian border crossings, particularly at Gradina, where passenger vehicles faced a five-hour wait to exit the country as of 5 p.m. on August 2. Data from the Border Police Administration indicates that commercial vehicles are facing the longest queues at the Šid crossing, with waits of up to three hours for those leaving Serbia. At the Preševo border crossing, passenger vehicles are waiting 90 minutes to exit Serbia and 20 minutes to enter. The Putevi Srbije (Roads of Serbia) company reported that travelers at Strezimirovci face a 60-minute wait to leave the country. Meanwhile, waits at Batrovci for entry, and at Sremska Rača for both entry and exit, are around 30 minutes. Shorter delays of 20 minutes for passenger vehicles are in effect at the Horgoš and Špiljani crossings for those entering Serbia. No significant delays are reported at other border crossings for any vehicle category. Additionally, wait times at toll stations Dimitrovgrad and Šimanovci are around 15 minutes, with no delays at other highway toll booths.
