Walking through 400 years: Unlocking Xinying's historical map on foot

Xinying District is unveiling its hidden history through a new walking tour that combines historical exploration with a leisurely pace. The "Transit! Xinying Time and Space Transfer Station" event, a joint initiative by the Xinying Library and Xinying Community University, invites participants to unlock the district's past.

Led by teacher Cai Peiru, the tour encourages a slower approach to discovering the area's historical layers. This method allows participants to engage more deeply with the local landscape and uncover details that might be missed during a faster-paced visit. The focus is on understanding the historical map of Xinying through direct experience.
