WATCH: IDF arrests two terrorists, raids 100 sites in Duvdevan West Bank counterterror operation

Israeli military forces conducted a significant counterterror operation near Jenin in the West Bank, detaining two suspected terrorists and raiding approximately 100 sites. The operation was carried out by Duvdevan undercover commandos, guided by intelligence from the Shin Bet (Israel Security Agency).

The two detained individuals are accused of planning and promoting terrorist activities aimed at harming Israeli citizens and IDF soldiers. The broader raid, involving troops from the Menashe Regional Brigade, also led to the detention and interrogation of additional suspects.

This operation comes at a time of heightened security measures in the West Bank. The IDF recently increased its deployment across the region, adding two battalions to its existing presence. This escalation in forces is a response to a sharp rise in Palestinian terrorist attacks and incidents involving settlers.
