Water Pistol Sparks Major Police Operation for Alleged Gun Violation

A large police operation was launched in Lindau, Germany, after a passerby reported seeing what they believed to be a firearm being pointed out of a car window. The incident, which occurred on Friday evening, prompted a search involving border and federal police.

Authorities quickly located the vehicle and its 17-year-old driver. During the stop, officers discovered a realistic-looking electric water pistol and a silencer attachment. The water pistol's appearance was apparently convincing enough to warrant the significant police response.

In addition to the water pistol, a 19-year-old female passenger was found to be in possession of illegal pepper spray. Both teenagers are now facing charges related to violations of the Weapons Act.
