The new Mercedes-AMG GT 53 is engineered to deliver a driving experience that convincingly mimics a gasoline-powered vehicle, complete with simulated gear shifts and the roar of an internal combustion engine. This auditory illusion is achieved through the AMGFORCE Sport+ driving program, which replicates the sensation of a traditional engine, even down to the audible interruptions during gear changes.

AMG engineers dedicated significant effort to perfecting this sound. They meticulously analyzed the acoustic characteristics of a previous six-cylinder engine, capturing its genuine sound profile from 16 different microphone positions. Further precision was achieved through over 100 high-accuracy measurements on a dynamometer, simulating both static and dynamic driving conditions. This detailed approach aims to provide an immersive and authentic sound experience for drivers.

Beyond the sound, the GT 53 incorporates advanced performance technology. Its adaptive air suspension continuously adjusts damping for each wheel based on the current driving situation and road quality. The 4MATIC+ all-wheel-drive system, powered by independently controlled electric motors, allows for dynamic torque distribution between the front and rear axles. Furthermore, a torque vectoring system individually manages power delivery to the rear wheels, enhancing the car's agility during cornering.

For the Hungarian market, sales are set to commence on August 13th, with an entry-level price point of nearly 48 million forints. This pricing positions the AMG GT 53 as a premium offering, blending advanced electric powertrain technology with a simulated, yet convincing, traditional performance car feel.
