Weapons, Uniform with Serbian Emblem Found in Zubin Potok Municipality

Kosovo police have uncovered a significant cache of weapons, ammunition, and a military uniform bearing a Serbian emblem in the municipality of Zubin Potok. The discovery was made on June 7, 2026, in an uninhabited house located in the village of Mala Jabuka, following an anonymous tip to the authorities. According to a statement from Kosovo Police, the search yielded one AK-47 assault rifle, two empty AK-47 magazines, 422 rounds of 7.62 mm caliber ammunition, 13 rounds of unknown caliber, and one 9x19 mm caliber bullet. Additionally, two grenade launchers (tromblons) and a military uniform adorned with a Serbian emblem were seized. All items were confiscated by the police. Authorities confirmed that no arrests have been made in connection with the discovery. An investigation has been launched, and a case has been opened concerning the unauthorized possession, control, or holding of weapons.
