Weather Change Arrives: Warm and Humid Until Afternoon, Then Storms and Refreshment

Serbia is set for a significant weather shift as warm and humid conditions today will be replaced by thunderstorms and storms later in the afternoon. This change is driven by cooler air moving in from Central Europe, signaling a departure from the current summery weather.

Initially, the day will be characterized by variable cloudiness, warmth, and humidity, with most areas remaining dry or experiencing only isolated showers. However, the afternoon will bring a more dramatic change. Clouds will gather from the west and northwest, ushering in more intense thunderstorms, accompanied by strong to gale-force winds and hail. These adverse weather conditions are particularly expected in western, southwestern, northern, and central Serbia.

Temperatures are expected to reach between 30 and 34 degrees Celsius today. Looking ahead to next week, the weather will remain variable. Periods of sunshine will alternate with cloudiness, and there will be continued potential for local showers and thunderstorms, as well as hail. These precipitation events are predicted to be more frequent in the mountainous regions of western and southwestern Serbia. Temperatures are generally expected to drop, with most areas seeing highs around 30 degrees Celsius, although southern Serbia might experience slightly warmer weather, up to 33 degrees, on Monday and Tuesday.
