While many areas will remain dry in the morning, the DWD predicts rain and localized thunderstorms developing from the west by midday. Temperatures are expected to reach between 19 and 25 degrees Celsius. The eastern Alps and parts of the Upper Palatinate offer the best chances for longer dry spells and more sunshine.

Those planning trips should monitor the weather closely. After severe storms on Tuesday, including heavy rain, hail, and strong winds, more intense downpours are possible on Thursday. A significant improvement in weather is not anticipated immediately, as Friday is also expected to feature a mix of sun, clouds, and repeated showers, with cooler temperatures between 16 and 20 degrees Celsius. A calming of the weather situation is only tentatively indicated for the weekend.
