Germany is set to enjoy a pleasant start to the new week with sunny skies and comfortable temperatures, according to the German Weather Service (DWD). Monday is predicted to be a largely friendly day across the country, with temperatures ranging from 22 to 25 degrees Celsius. In the southwestern regions, thermometers could climb as high as 28 degrees.

Most areas will experience dry conditions, with only isolated clouds expected in the northeast and southwest. DWD meteorologist Nico Bauer described these clouds as "mostly just decoration," indicating minimal chance of precipitation. However, the far northeast might see a few scattered showers.

The weather pattern is expected to shift starting Tuesday. The DWD forecasts a division, with the northeast remaining sunny and dry. In contrast, the southern parts of Germany will become cloudier, with much-needed rain anticipated. These rainfall areas are expected to move from the southwest into the central regions throughout the day, accompanied by showers and isolated thunderstorms in the southwest.

Temperatures will remain in the pleasant 20 to 27-degree range during this period. Looking ahead to mid-week, changeable weather is expected in the southwest and west, while the northeast continues to see intermittent sunshine. Temperatures could rise again, potentially reaching 30 degrees along the Upper Rhine. A more significant temperature drop might occur at the beginning of the following weekend.
