Weather outlook: Sun follows rain in Saxony

The German Weather Service (DWD) forecasts maximum temperatures to hover between 18 and 21 degrees Celsius on Saturday and Sunday, rising slightly to 22 degrees on Monday.

This cooler weather follows a stark contrast to the previous Saturday, when temperatures in Saxony soared to as high as 38 degrees Celsius. The weekend begins with overcast skies and intermittent showers, particularly on Saturday morning, as the rain moves eastward. The DWD anticipates a mix of sun and clouds on Sunday, with only isolated showers possible and a slight risk of thunderstorms.

Nighttime temperatures will offer a noticeable drop, with lows expected between 8 and 11 degrees Celsius on Sunday night. In the mountainous regions, temperatures could fall as low as 6 degrees. The following night is forecast to be even cooler, with lows potentially reaching 3 degrees Celsius in the highlands. The DWD predicts dry conditions and scattered clouds for the nights, with clouds expected to dissipate in the evenings on both Saturday and Sunday.
