Week 24: SCO Summit, President Xi’s Visit and World Nomad Games

Leaders at the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation meetings signed about 30 documents defining the organisation’s direction for the coming years.

The central document was the Bishkek Declaration. It recorded the participants’ shared positions on strengthening regional security, expanding trade and economic links, and developing transport and logistics corridors.
