Weekend Events Prompt Zagreb Public Transport Reroutes

Zagreb residents should prepare for public transport changes this weekend due to scheduled events. The city's public transport company, ZET, announced modifications to several bus and tram lines to accommodate a race and a festival.

On Saturday, June 6, the DM women's race will impact bus lines 113 (Ljubljanica - Jarun) and 117 (Črnomerec - Jarun). Line 113 will not serve the Jarun Lake area between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m., and again from 8 p.m. to 11 p.m., operating only to the old Jarun terminus. Between 7 p.m. and 8 p.m., line 113 will be suspended entirely. Line 117 will operate a modified route from Črnomerec to Ljubljanica between 7 p.m. and 8 p.m., using Zagrebačka Avenue and Fallerovo šetalište.

Sunday, June 7, will see tram traffic suspended on Ilica street from Frankopanska to Ulica Republike Austrije due to the "Q art" festival. Tram lines 6 and 11 will operate on altered routes in both directions. Line 6 will run from Črnomerec to Autobusni kolodvor and Sopot, while line 11 will travel from Črnomerec to Kvaternikov trg and Dubec, bypassing the closed section of Ilica. Passengers are advised to check ZET's announcements for specific departure times and platform information.
