WEmbrace Games: Rome hosts sport and inclusion event on June 8

Rome is set to host WEmbrace Games on June 8 at the Stadio dei Marmi, an event dedicated to sport and inclusion. Now in its 14th year, the charity event, conceived by the art4sport Foundation and Bebe Vio Grandis, adopts the theme "Play Wild," drawing inspiration from the world of dinosaurs.

With Play Wild we have wanted to bring everyone back to a primordial, instinctive world, where there are no barriers but only energy, courage and the desire to get involved.

The games will feature eight teams, comprising adults and children with and without disabilities, competing alongside athletes and young people from the art4sport Foundation. "At WEmbrace Games, everyone finds their own way to overcome their limits and do so together with others. That is our true victory."

Admission is free, with reservations required until capacity is reached. The evening begins at 6:30 PM with a musical pre-show by the creative collective Touch The Wood, followed by the games at 8:30 PM. Several notable figures are expected, including the Minister for Sport and Youth Andrea Abodi, the president of the Italian Paralympic Committee Marco Giunio De Sanctis, and Rome Capital's Councilor for Major Events, Sport, Tourism, and Fashion Alessandro Onorato. The event will also host numerous personalities from the sports and entertainment sectors, such as Paola Egonu, Martín Castrogiovanni, Claudio Amendola, Neri Marcorè, Giorgio Pasotti, Benji e Fede, Matteo Branciamore, Zero Assoluto, and Trio Medusa.
