The West Indies' innings showed few bright moments, though veteran all-rounder Deandra Dottin provided a late surge.

Dottin, who had a scare with a medical emergency before the match, came in with four overs remaining and scored an unbeaten 26 from 16 deliveries. Matthews acknowledged the scare but praised Dottin's fighting spirit.
