Westmead Mall Opens New Outlet in Ibadan

Westmead Mall has expanded its presence in Ibadan with a new outlet in Samonda, adding another location to its family-focused retail and lifestyle network.

The outlet stands along Samonda-Bodija Road, opposite the old Trans-Amusement Park. It joins existing Westmead locations at Wofun Bus Stop, Mokola ICT Hub and Babanla, Oremeji.

The Archbishop of Ibadan, Most Rev. Gabriel ’Leke Abegunrin, blessed the new facility and prayed for the company’s continued growth and success, as well as its positive impact on the communities it serves.

Managing Director Seye Ogunwuyi said the expansion involved more than opening retail outlets. She said Westmead remained committed to creating jobs, supporting livelihoods and contributing to the welfare of families in Ibadan. The company, established a few years ago, now directly employs more than 500 people and supports several thousand others through indirect employment and economic opportunities across its operations and value chain.
