What Cannot Be Taken Into Bishkek Arena? Authorities Publish List of Prohibited Items

Visitors attending the opening ceremony of the sixth World Nomad Games at Bishkek Arena will face a broad list of prohibited items. The stadium administration and Kyrgyzstan’s Interior Ministry said banned goods would be confiscated at the entrance.

The list includes drugs and other prohibited substances, cigarettes, IQOS products and nasvay. Glass bottles, cans, thermoses and other hard or breakable containers are also barred, as are outside food and drinks.

Large backpacks, bags and suitcases will not be allowed. Professional cameras, video equipment and drones require prior permission. Weapons, pointed or sharp objects, aerosols, gas cylinders, flammable liquids, fireworks, pyrotechnics and signaling devices are prohibited as well.

Unauthorized radios and high-frequency communications equipment are banned, along with musical instruments, whistles, megaphones and other devices that produce loud sounds. Authorities also announced temporary restrictions on some roads in Bishkek, Chüy and Issyk-Kul during state events. Traffic will close intermittently, and drivers were asked to plan routes in advance and avoid travel where possible.
