What Wike Told the PDP Presidential Candidate About Supporting Tinubu in 2027, Aide Says

Nyesom Wike told the presidential candidate of Nigeria’s Peoples Democratic Party where he stood on the 2027 election, according to an aide quoted by Premium Times.

“It will not be fair to the PDP if he did not come out in the open to say, ‘This is where I am,’” the aide said. Wike’s support for Bola Tinubu was therefore made clear to the party’s candidate, whom the aide described as Wike’s friend.
