When and where to watch Başakşehir vs Galatasaray, and will it be free?

League leaders Galatasaray travel to Başakşehir for the fourth week of the Trendyol Süper Lig, with the match scheduled to begin at 8 p.m. at Başakşehir Fatih Terim Stadium. Kadir Sağlam will referee, and beIN Sports 1 will broadcast the game.

Victor Osimhen has carried much of Galatasaray’s attacking burden at the start of the season. The Nigerian striker has scored five goals in three league appearances. He scored twice in the 2-2 draw with Arca Çorum FK, twice in the 4-0 win over Erzurumspor FK, and once against Göztepe. He has also scored 17 times in his last 15 league matches.

Two new arrivals could make their Galatasaray debuts. Portugal international Rafael Leão joined from Milan for a reported €38 million transfer fee and could play if coach Okan Buruk selects him. Deniz Gül, signed from Porto for €10 million, is also waiting for his first appearance. French defender El Chadaille Bitshiabu, who joined the team a day earlier, is not expected to play.

Buruk has not lost points against Başakşehir in the league since taking charge of Galatasaray in the 2022-23 season. His team has won all eight meetings, scoring 21 goals and conceding three.

Galatasaray has also avoided defeat against teams coached by Nuri Şahin in the league. Against Şahin’s Antalyaspor, Galatasaray recorded four wins and one draw in five matches. Since Şahin became Başakşehir coach last season, Galatasaray has won both league meetings, scoring five goals and conceding one.
