Who Is Özlem Esmergül, Serhat Kılıç’s Partner? Her Age and Career

Özlem Esmergül has come into the spotlight following the death of actor Serhat Kılıç. She is known for a career spanning journalism, publishing, writing, film, television, and media.

Born in Hannover, Germany, Esmergül graduated from Istanbul University’s Faculty of Communication, Department of Journalism. She began her journalism career in 1995 at Hürriyet’s Kelebek supplement, working as a translator and reporter.

She later wrote music and film articles and worked as a columnist at Star newspaper. In 2003, she joined the creative team of Türk Film Şirketi, contributing to productions including G.O.R.A. and Rus Gelin. Four years later, she founded Dramedya Advertising Agency.

Esmergül also worked as a media director on television series and films. Her credits include the series Yaralı Yürek, Yanık Koza, Cemile, and Eksik Etek, as well as the films Küçük Kıyamet, Sözün Bittiği Yer, 120, Kutsal Damacana, and Eve Dönüş.

In 2009, she prepared cinema news and interviews for Sabah’s Günaydın supplement. Since 2013, she has worked at Destek Yayınları as a book editor and publishing coordinator. She has served as editor in chief of Genç Destek Yayınları since 2017.
