Winway's May Revenue Hits Record High, Driven by AI Demand

Interface testing solutions provider Winway (6515) reported a robust May, with consolidated revenue hitting NT$1.073 billion. This figure represents a significant 8.48% increase from the previous month and a remarkable 119.79% jump compared to the same period last year, securing the second-highest monthly revenue in the company's history.

The company highlighted that sustained demand across AI, HPC, CPU, and AP application sectors has been the primary driver behind its strong performance. This consistent order flow allowed May's revenue to surpass the NT$1 billion mark, underscoring the increasing need for advanced testing components in these rapidly evolving technological fields.

Winway's new production facility in Kaohsiung's Renwu district has recently commenced operations. Following an initial adjustment period of over a month, the company reports that yield rates have steadily improved through production coordination and process optimization. The plant's overall稼動率 (utilization rate) and output have now reached expected levels.

Looking ahead, Winway anticipates accelerating the fulfillment of its existing order backlog in the coming months. The company is poised to capitalize on the growing demand for high-end Test Sockets and MEMS Probe Cards, driven by advancements in AI applications. With the new production capacity coming fully online, Winway expects this expansion to serve as a continuous engine for revenue growth.
