Wolves striker Arokodare in fresh controversy after training disruption

Wolverhampton Wanderers striker Tolu Arokodare is reportedly at the center of a fresh controversy after allegedly refusing to leave the training pitch when instructed not to train with the first team. The incident, which occurred at the club's Compton Park base, led to the cancellation of the training session, according to Wolves correspondent Nathan Judah.

Understand Wolves training was cancelled yesterday following Tolu Arokodare’s refusal to leave the pitch when asked not to train with the squad. Cesar Peixoto seemingly not tolerating ‘player power’ & poor discipline levels.

Sources indicate that extra security was deployed to the training ground, and Arokodare will not be part of the squad traveling for an upcoming match. This alleged fallout adds to growing uncertainty surrounding the Nigerian forward's future at the club. Fiorentina has reportedly submitted a loan-to-buy proposal, with other clubs also showing interest.

The 25-year-old's alleged behavior follows past disciplinary concerns, including a reported dressing-room altercation with a teammate earlier in the season. At the time, then-manager Rob Edwards downplayed the incident, stating it was resolved internally and not uncommon in a passionate team environment.
