Woman charged with murder after four-year-old boy found dead in Central Coast home

A 32-year-old woman faces a murder charge following the discovery of a young boy's body at a home on the New South Wales Central Coast. Police were alerted when the woman arrived at a local station in Wyong on Saturday.

Officers were dispatched to the residence but were unable to communicate with the woman. Later that afternoon, they found the body of a child, believed to be a four-year-old boy, inside the home. The child had sustained significant injuries to his arm.

The woman, who was subsequently arrested, is understood to have a connection to the child. She has been charged with murder in a domestic violence context and was denied bail. She is scheduled to appear in court on Sunday.

Authorities continued their investigation at the scene on Sunday morning, with the homicide squad assisting in determining the circumstances surrounding the boy's death. The child has not yet been formally identified.
