Woman confesses to stabbing boyfriend in Argentina, claims self-defense

Victoria Luz Cantero, 29, has confessed to fatally stabbing her boyfriend, Matías Julián Álvarez Guardia, 29, in Chaco, Argentina. The confession reportedly occurred at the hospital where Álvarez Guardia was treated for a severe stab wound to the right side of his chest before undergoing surgery and ultimately succumbing to his injuries.

The victim's sisters have filed a report alleging that jewelry and money were stolen from Álvarez Guardia, a claim that has not yet been corroborated by authorities. The relationship between Cantero and Álvarez Guardia is described by both families as toxic.
