Woman dies after being shot outside Sheffield bar

A woman has died following a shooting outside a bar in Sheffield city centre. Police found the 30-year-old with serious injuries outside the One Four One venue on West Street around 2:45 a.m. BST on Monday. She received treatment at the scene from officers and paramedics before being taken to hospital, where she later died. Three individuals have been arrested in connection with the incident. A 30-year-old man and a 32-year-old woman were apprehended near Stockport, Greater Manchester, in the early hours, while a 30-year-old man was arrested in Sheffield. All three remain in custody for questioning. South Yorkshire Police stated that the woman's family has been informed, though she has not yet been formally identified. Assistant Chief Constable Colin McFarlane described the event as "devastating." He urged anyone with information to come forward, noting the bank holiday weekend is a busy time and many people were likely in the area. Police will maintain a significant presence in the vicinity. Several streets around the bar remain closed, and drivers are advised to avoid the area.
