Woman found dead in Ferrara home, husband arrested for stabbing

Ferrara, Italy – A 50-year-old woman, identified as Samanta Zironi, was found dead in her apartment late last night, allegedly murdered by her husband, 52-year-old Vladimiro Lombardi. Emergency medical services, alerted by Lombardi himself, arrived at the scene but could only confirm Zironi's death.

Lombardi was taken into custody and transferred to the police station. He has reportedly exercised his right to remain silent and has not yet responded to initial questioning by the public prosecutor. Early findings suggest Zironi sustained multiple stab wounds.
