Woman found with stab wounds on Kalgoorlie street

Police have cordoned off sections of Kalgoorlie's main street after a woman was discovered with critical stab wounds in the early hours of the morning. Detectives and forensic officers are currently examining the scene on Hannan Street.

The incident occurred around 3:40 a.m. when police responded to reports of a stabbing. The woman, believed to be in her 40s, was transported to Kalgoorlie Health Campus with life-threatening injuries. The WA Country Health Service has been contacted for an update on her condition.
