Woman kills neighbor by ramming car into his house after argument in Brazil

The city of Porto Velho, the capital of Brazil's Rondonia state, is in shock following a fatal incident where a 29-year-old woman allegedly killed her 68-year-old neighbor by driving her car into his home after a dispute.

The accused, identified as medical student Vitória Caroline Marangoni Schnider, reportedly argued with her neighbor, Odair Brustolin, and other residents on the street. Following the altercation, she allegedly drove her car into Brustolin's house, causing severe injuries that later proved fatal.

Security camera footage shows the woman first throwing bottles at the victim's house before getting into her car. She then intentionally rammed the vehicle into the home's entrance. Brustolin was rushed to the hospital but succumbed to his injuries.

After the attack, the woman fled to a friend's house, where police apprehended her following a search operation. According to local media, the owner of the house where she sought refuge reported that she claimed her car was damaged during a neighborhood "fight." The victim's family lawyer stated that the woman did not know Brustolin, describing the attack as "completely useless" and without any prior interaction or apparent motive.
