Woman Missing Since June Identified in Clandestine Grave in Los Mochis, Sinaloa

The remains of Marisela "N", a 67-year-old woman who disappeared on June 5, have been identified in a clandestine grave discovered in Los Mochis, Sinaloa, Mexico. The discovery was made by a search collective in an area known as Los Almacenes, where the body was found in an advanced state of decomposition.

The State Attorney General's Office had issued a "Protocolo Alba" alert on June 8 for the victim, detailing her physical characteristics: 1.60 meters tall, medium build, with graying hair and a dark complexion. She was last seen in the Urbi Villa neighborhood of Los Mochis, wearing a navy blue blouse, black pants, and purple sandals.

On July 22, a group of female trackers, acting on information about the location of a clandestine grave in the Los Almacenes area, uncovered the woman's body. The clothing remnants found at the site matched the description of what Marisela "N" was wearing when she disappeared. This discovery prompted further forensic investigations.

Following a series of genetic studies and comparative analyses of the victim's characteristics and clothing, judicial authorities have officially identified the remains as those of Marisela "N". The investigation into her disappearance and death is ongoing.
