Woo Seo-yoon, daughter of ex-basketball star, crowned Miss Korea 'Jin'

Woo Seo-yoon, the 22-year-old daughter of former professional basketball player Woo Ji-won, has been awarded the coveted 'Jin' title at the 70th Miss Korea pageant. The prestigious event, held at the COEX Auditorium in Gangnam-gu, Seoul, saw Woo Seo-yoon, who had previously won the 'Seon' title for the Seoul, Gyeonggi, and Incheon regions, claim the ultimate crown.

Overwhelmed by the announcement, Woo Seo-yoon admitted she was completely unprepared for the win and had not prepared a speech. She expressed deep gratitude, stating, "I was able to complete a wonderful stage through painstaking effort, stitch by stitch." She also extended her thanks to her family and friends for their unwavering support and encouragement.

Woo Seo-yoon is no stranger to the spotlight, having previously appeared on the SBS show 'Star Junior Show Bungeoppang' and more recently gaining attention through the tvN STORY and E채널 program 'My Kid's Romance 2'. Currently, she is pursuing a degree in Fine Arts at Tufts University in the United States.
