World’s most expensive gold dress worth Dhs5m captivates visitors in Sharjah

Sharjah is currently hosting the 57th edition of the Watch and Jewellery Middle East Show (WJMES), drawing significant attention from leading local and international brands. The exhibition features exclusive collections and rare pieces that blend modern innovation with traditional craftsmanship.

A major highlight is the debut of an extraordinary gold dress by Al Romaizan Gold and Jewellery. Manufactured in the UAE, this masterpiece weighs over 10 kilograms of pure 21-karat gold and is valued at Dhs5 million. It holds the Guinness World Record for the world's most expensive gold dress, serving as a major attraction for visitors.

Al Romaizan is also launching new jewelry collections at the show. Salem Al Shueibi Jewellery is introducing its "Aura Mosa” collection, a collaboration with Emirati designer Shamma Al Hallami, alongside record-breaking pieces from the "Sheikha Hind” collection and over 500 new diamond designs.

Other participants include Arabian Gold & Diamond, showcasing artistic creations like the "Union Frame" which features landmarks from all seven emirates, the world's largest mirror, and the world's largest "Mertasha" jewelry piece. Jawhara Jewellery is presenting its "Palm” Collection, featuring 18-karat gold with diamonds and gemstones, alongside exclusive pearl jewelry and bespoke diamond bridal sets.
