Following issues raised by drivers regarding tire durability during the recent Portugal stage, official tire supplier Hankook is rushing to implement updates.

Hankook, which has served as the official tire supplier for the WRC for two years, is working against the clock to deliver a revised gravel tire. The company is developing an updated specification featuring a harder compound, specifically designed to withstand the rigors of the demanding gravel stages that characterize the Greek rally.

The Acropolis Rally, known for its punishing terrain, will be the first event where these improved tires are expected to be deployed. This move by Hankook aims to address driver feedback and ensure optimal performance and reliability on one of the WRC's most physically demanding circuits.
