WWDC 2026: List of devices compatible with iOS 27 and MacOs 27 Golden Gate

Apple unveiled iOS 27 and macOS 27 Golden Gate at its Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) 2026. The new operating systems are set to bring substantial advancements in artificial intelligence to iPhones and Macs, alongside notable performance boosts.

For iOS 27, Apple promises faster app loading times, with apps opening up to 30% quicker. Specific improvements include a 70% increase in the speed of opening the Photos app and an 80% speed enhancement for file transfers. The official release for iOS 27 is scheduled for mid-September.

The company also detailed the list of compatible devices for iOS 27, which includes a wide range of iPhone models from the iPhone 11 series up to the anticipated iPhone 17 series, as well as the iPhone SE (2nd and 3rd generation) and various iPhone Air models.

macOS 27 Golden Gate will also receive significant updates, focusing on Apple Intelligence features. The compatible Mac devices include various models of iMac (M1, M3, M4), Mac mini (M1, M2, M2 Pro, M4, M4 Pro), Mac Studio (M1 Max, M1 Ultra, M2 Max, M2 Ultra, M4 Max, M3 Ultra), Mac Pro (M2 Ultra), MacBook Neo (A18 Pro), MacBook Air (M1 through M5), and MacBook Pro (M1 through M5 Pro/Max).
