Xinzhuang Dizang Temple Celebrates Wenwu Dazhong Lord's Birthday, City Hall Praises Temple's Charitable Contributions

New Taipei City officials, including Deputy Mayor Liu Ho-jan and mayoral candidate Su Chiao-hui, attended a ceremony at the Xinzhuang Dizang Temple to celebrate the birthday of the Wenwu Dazhong Lord. The event, part of the temple's three-day "Xinzhuang Grand Festival," drew local dignitaries who offered incense and prayed for favorable weather and national peace.

Deputy Mayor Liu praised the temple's enduring commitment to public welfare. He noted the Xinzhuang Dizang Temple's decade-long recognition as an excellent religious organization by the Ministry of the Interior. The temple's charitable efforts include supporting impoverished students and the elderly, donating a garbage truck to the city's sanitation team, and this year, contributing three police patrol cars alongside other temples.
