Former Kogi State Governor Yahaya Bello has commended President Bola Tinubu for the progress made in tackling insecurity nationwide. Bello stated that recent security operations demonstrate the effectiveness of the Federal Government's intelligence-led approach.

Speaking after a meeting with National Security Adviser Nuhu Ribadu in Abuja, Bello highlighted the foiling of an attempted abduction of schoolchildren in Kogi State. He described this operation as a testament to the security support the state receives from the Federal Government and a result of improved coordination among security agencies.
