Yeni Parti Opens District Office in Ödemiş, Criticizes AKP Policies and Vows Change

The Yeni Parti (New Party) has expanded its presence in İzmir, Turkey, by inaugurating its third district office in Ödemiş. The opening ceremony was attended by key party figures, including Founding Provincial Chairman Çağatay Güç, provincial deputies Mehmet Salih Uzun and Deniz Yücel, and local officials. The event commenced with the laying of a wreath at the Atatürk Monument by Ödemiş District Chairman Bülent Eker. Addressing the attendees, Chairman Güç emphasized Ödemiş's significant role in agriculture and livestock farming. He stated that the party's General Chairman, Özgür Özel, is well-acquainted with the region and assured that the problems of villagers and farmers would be resolved under a Yeni Parti government. Güç criticized the current ruling party, AKP, for its "disruptive order" and vowed to change it. Deputies Uzun and Yücel elaborated on the party's formation and objectives, while local leaders Turan and Eker affirmed the party's progress towards gaining power. Chairman Güç further detailed the economic hardships faced by the people of Ödemiş under AKP policies. He described Ödemiş as a fertile land where labor transforms into production and production reaches the table, highlighting its economic value through agriculture, livestock, markets, tradespeople, and history. However, he pointed out the difficulties confronting producers, citing high costs for fuel, feed, fertilizer, and electricity. "Our farmer sows and harvests but does not receive the reward for their labor. Our livestock farmer works day and night but is crushed by costs. Our tradespeople are trying to survive, our retirees to make ends meet, and our youth to build their future," Güç stated. He asserted that Yeni Parti engages in politics precisely to address these issues, contrasting their approach with a political mindset that ignores the public's concerns. "We are here because we share the people's troubles. There is nothing this political understanding, which does not listen to the citizen, does not hear the producer, and does not know the problems of the village and the field, can offer this country. This political understanding is AKP itself," he declared. Güç pledged that Yeni Parti would implement policies that positively impact people's lives in Ödemiş, solving the problems of farmers, tradespeople, and retirees, and offering confidence to women and hope to youth. He concluded by calling for a collective change from the "clumsy AKP politics and its disruptive order," emphasizing the nation's need for a new approach, a new politics, and a new system where producers prosper, workers receive their due, and hard work is rewarded. "This path is the path of hope! This path is called YENİ Parti," he proclaimed.
