YENİ Party completes organization in 60 provinces, eyes 1.5 million members

The YENİ Party convened its first Central Executive Board (MYK) meeting in the Turkish parliament, with party leader Özgür Özel presiding over discussions primarily focused on organizational development. The party has set an ambitious timeline to complete its organizational structure across 61 provinces by August 9, with efforts in 21 cities in the Eastern and Southeastern Anatolia regions slated for completion before the end of September.

During the meeting, Ensar Aytekin, the party's Deputy Chairman responsible for Domestic Organizations, briefed MYK members on the progress. YENİ Party sources indicated that organizational activities have concluded in 60 provinces. The party is reportedly attracting former provincial heads from the Republican People's Party (CHP) who were dismissed under the current CHP leadership.

Following the completion of provincial organizations, the YENİ Party plans to launch a comprehensive membership campaign, starting with the Çankaya district. Party sources also claimed that nearly 800,000 members have resigned from the CHP, with the expectation that these individuals will join the YENİ Party. They anticipate the party's membership to reach 1.5 million within the first week of the campaign.
