YENİ Party’s provincial mayors hold first meeting in Bilecik

YENİ Party’s provincial mayors gathered in Bilecik for their first meeting, with discussions focused on the needs of their cities and projects planned by local administrations.

The meeting took place at the Şeyh Edebali Culture and Congress Center. It was attended by Deputy Chairman for Local Governments Yaşar Tüzün, Antalya lawmaker Cavit Arı, Ardahan lawmaker Özgür Erdem İncesu, Aydın lawmaker Evrim Karakoz and the party’s provincial mayors. Bilecik Mayor Melek Mızrak Subaşı also took part.

Participants reviewed work already carried out in the cities, as well as projects being planned. They also discussed the party’s approach to local government and shared goals for the future.

Subaşı said she was pleased that the provincial mayors had met in Bilecik for the first time. “At this gathering we hosted in Bilecik, we discussed the needs of our cities, our approach to local government and our shared goals for the future, renewing our hope of building better tomorrows for our people together,” she said.

As part of the program, lawmakers and mayors visited businesses and residents in the city center. They also inspected projects and work carried out by Bilecik Municipality.
