The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kaduna State has concluded its senatorial primaries, with prominent figures including former Governor Ramalan Yero, Senator Shehu Sani, and Senator Sunday Katung emerging as winners. These victories position them as the party's flag bearers for the Kaduna North, Kaduna Central, and Kaduna South Senatorial Districts, respectively, in the lead-up to the 2027 general elections.

In the Kaduna North district, Ramalan Yero secured a decisive victory, polling 6,060 votes against his closest rival Muazu Mukaddas's 1,044 votes. Meanwhile, Senator Shehu Sani clinched the Kaduna Central ticket with a substantial 9,105 votes, overcoming challenges from Yusuf Zailani and Shettima Yerima. Senator Sunday Katung emerged victorious in Kaduna South, defeating former Senator Danjuma Laah and Michael Ayuba with 7,453 votes.
