Yongjin Secures Large Order for 587 NVIDIA B200 AI Servers for Thailand Data Center

Taiwanese server manufacturer Yongjin (7711) has secured a significant order for 587 AI servers featuring NVIDIA's B200 GPU, marking a strategic collaboration with Japanese firm Data Section. These powerful servers, equipped with a total of 4,696 GPUs, are destined for an AI data center in the outskirts of Bangkok, Thailand.

As Thailand's government promotes 'Thailand 4.0' and its national AI strategy, the demand for high-performance AI computing in Southeast Asia is rapidly increasing.

The deployment is intended to create a dedicated computing platform for a major U.S. enterprise, catering to high-level artificial intelligence tasks. Data Section selected Yongjin as its partner due to the stringent requirements for computing performance and equipment specifications, aiming to strengthen their joint efforts in AI infrastructure.

Data Section highlighted that the "Thailand 4.0" initiative and national AI strategy are driving a rapid increase in demand for high-performance AI computing across Southeast Asia. By integrating Yongjin's B200 servers, the data center's capacity will be substantially enhanced, addressing the growing needs for generative AI, model training, and inference. This move also supports Thailand's push for sovereign AI and digital transformation.
