Yongzhi Technology Included in MSCI Index, Stock Price Hits Upper Limit

Yongzhi Technology (6683), a semiconductor testing interface manufacturer, experienced a significant surge in its stock price, hitting the upper limit of NT$1,395. This rally followed the announcement of its inclusion in the MSCI Global Small Cap Index for Taiwan stocks as part of the latest quarterly adjustment by MSCI.

The company's stock opened higher and continued its upward trajectory, trading at the daily limit by mid-morning. As of 10:40 AM, the stock remained locked at NT$1,395, with a trading volume of 579 shares and a substantial buy order backlog at the upper limit.

Yongzhi Technology is actively expanding its presence in the high-end testing market, particularly for AI-related applications. The company anticipates that new ASIC projects will begin contributing to revenue in the second half of the year, with further volume increases expected next year. To support this growth, Yongzhi plans to increase its overall production capacity by at least 50% and optimize its high-end probe card manufacturing processes.

Despite the positive stock performance, recent trading data shows a mixed trend among institutional investors. Foreign investors have sold a net of 27 shares, marking eight consecutive days of selling. Proprietary traders also sold nine shares, extending their selling streak to three days. In total, institutional investors sold 35 shares.
