Young CHP Member Dies in Traffic Accident; İmamoğlu Offers Condolences

Istanbul Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu, currently imprisoned, has offered condolences following the death of Suzan Rüya Balçık, a young member of the Republican People's Party (CHP).

İmamoğlu shared his message on social media, stating, "I learned with sadness about the death of our sister Suzan Rüya Balçık, who was the president of our municipality's children's council during my term as Beylikdüzü Mayor and a bright candidate for our Beylikdüzü youth organization." He extended his wishes for mercy from God to Rüya and offered condolences to her family, loved ones, and the Beylikdüzü organization.

CHP Istanbul Youth Branches Provincial Chairman Ekrem Kara also announced Balçık's death on social media. He expressed deep sorrow over the loss of the "valuable sister" and member of the Beylikdüzü Youth Branches, describing the incident as a tragic traffic accident. Kara conveyed his wishes for mercy from God to their "dear companion" and offered patience and condolences to her family and loved ones, stating, "May our youth organization mourn."
