YouTuber Chatterbox and his father die in head-on car crash

Argentine YouTuber Sebastián Funes, widely known as Chatterbox, died in a tragic head-on collision on Route 5. His father, Juan Manuel, also perished in the crash that occurred Sunday afternoon near Pehuajó in Buenos Aires province.

Funes, who resided in Buenos Aires but hailed from Pehuajó, was a popular figure among young audiences. His YouTube channel boasted over 1.6 million subscribers, where he created gameplays, humorous clips, and comedic reactions to popular video games like Fortnite and The Backrooms Game. He also had a significant following on Twitch with over 114,000 followers.

The accident involved a Chevrolet S-10 pickup truck and a Honda Civic. Initial reports suggest the collision happened when one vehicle attempted to overtake a truck on a straight stretch of road. Funes' sister, Francesca, and mother, Vanesa, were injured and transported to a local hospital. The remains of Funes and his father were scheduled for a wake on Monday.
