YouTuber claims differences in Jokowi's diplomas from PDIP and KPU

YouTuber Mikhael Sinaga claims to have identified discrepancies between President Joko Widodo's diplomas obtained from the Indonesian Democratic Party of Struggle (PDIP) and the General Election Commission (KPU). Sinaga alleges that the legalization stamps on the diplomas are positioned differently. He described noticing the variation by comparing the documents side-by-side and holding them up to the light.

Sinaga stated he requested the documents from PDIP as part of a reporting investigation. Drawing from his own experience as a former legislative candidate, he explained that candidate documents are generally submitted to political parties before being forwarded to the KPU. He believes this process should apply to all candidates, regardless of the office they seek.

PDIP politician Guntur Romli confirmed that the party provided various documents, including copies of Widodo's high school and university diplomas, in accordance with the Public Information Openness Law. Romli stated that all accessible documents were made available.
